Emerson had her first debut as a flower girl for my beautiful sister-in-law’s wedding a few months ago. We were honored and thrilled that she was asked and immediately began the hunt for the perfect flower girl dress to match the rustic/bohemian theme. I was surprised to find that most flower girl dresses from department stores mirrored mini wedding dresses. All beautiful in their own way, but for a more rustic type of wedding they did not fit the bill of what we were looking for. I turned to Etsy where I found much more affordable options that matched the esthetic of the wedding.
Emerson wore this lace dress in ivory from PoshPeanutKids and we absolutely loved it. It fit her personality so well, was comfortable for her and still allowed her to move and walk around easily.
Emerson thoroughly enjoyed the day getting ready with her Auntie and all the girls. Our trip down the aisle was a little less memorable as this toddler got overwhelmed by all the people and broke down into tears as soon as we started the processional march. Nate and I quickly scooped her up and carried her down part of the aisle before handing her over to my Mom. She missed the opportunity to walk down the aisle with her cousin who was the ring bearer but it will be a story we will tell for years to come!
